ABOUT THE COURSE:This course meets the training requirements of Aerospace Industries Association- National Aerospace Standards NAS 410, Certification & Qualification of Nondestructive Test Personnel: and complies with the training guidelines of American Society of Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Recommended Practice No SNT-TC-1A and Mil-Std-410E.The course addresses the inspection and process of ASTM E1444 and incorporates the process control attributes of NADCAP (Performance Review Institute) checklist AC7114/2.The course prepares students to perform magnetic particle inspections using visible and fluorescent particles. ATTENDIES:Will receive formal classroom training, hands-on inspection and be required to perform all process controls relative to aerospace requirements.The class includes books, hand-outs, and quizzes/exams covering material.
LEVEL 1: 16 hr (Operator) LEVEL 2: 16 hr (Inspector) WHO SHOULD ATTEND:Entry Level NDT Personnel, Inspectors, Supervisors and NDT Personnel requiring Refresher Training.
